| Patricia Thacker is a freelance technical writer with experinece in design, editing, proofreading and writing informational documents.
She worked with the National Scenic Byways Online team for three years, first as a researcher and then as special projects editor. Before spending a year in Kumamoto, Japan, teaching English, she worked as a data entry specialist and did composition with textbook layouts. She has always wanted to be an editor, but found a much broader scope in technical writing. She has experience in coding html, creating websites and comprehensive editing, and has extensive knowledge with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, ImageReady and the Microsoft Office Suite.
